Cogdel Education Group signed a memorandum of cooperation with the English Evaluation Department of the University of Cambridge

On April 16, 2021, the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the English Evaluation Department of Cambridge University and Cogdel Education Group and the establishment ceremony of the "Cambridge English Localization Alliance" were held in Chengdu, Sichuan province. The guests and leaders who attended the event included Ms. Qu Min, Managing Director of Cambridge English Assessment Department; Mr. Wang Shu, Chairman of Cogdel Education; and more than 20 well-known primary and secondary school principals from across the country. Dong Hongdan, Vice President of the Academy of Education Department of Education, and the Secretary-General of Chongqing Education International Exchange Association were also invited to attend. Colleagues from the Cambridge English Assessment Department in China also participated in the activities.

Through this cooperation, the Cambridge University English Evaluation Department awarded Cogdel Education Group the qualifications for Cambridge Children, Cambridge Youth English Evaluation Test, TKT, Celt-s/p, etc. Cogdel Education Group will safely and efficiently conduct the Cambridge System Evaluation tests and certification tests under the unified standards of the English Evaluation Department of Cambridge University. At the same time, the Cambridge University English Evaluation Department, together with Cogdel Education Group, is committed to improving the English literacy of primary and secondary school students and teachers' English teaching abilities. The two sides will also cooperate with domestic universities to jointly cultivate high-level certified English teaching talents.

At the meeting, Cogdel Education Group also awarded the title of "Member of Cambridge English Localization Alliance for Chinese Primary and Secondary Schools" to 20 primary and secondary schools with a high degree of internationalization and high English teaching level. The Cambridge English Local Innovation and Cooperation Alliance for Chinese Primary and Secondary Schools is based on the "package framework agreement" signed by the Cambridge English Evaluation Department and Cogdel Education Group, initiated by Cogdel Education Group, supported and guided by the English Evaluation Department of Cambridge University, and established with many well-known primary and secondary schools with high international literacy in China. Through the establishment of Cambridge English Youth series evaluation centers, the Alliance has optimized the English teaching and evaluation system of the alliance, systematically established the Cambridge English teacher development system in the alliance, and promoted the English literacy and international level of teachers and students in the alliance schools.
