Wuhan International Department of No.6 Middle School has obtained the official authorization of IBDP project

On February 6, 2022, the sixth day of the Chinese New Year, the comprehensive test of the public free IB international curriculum was held in Wuhan No.6 Middle School. This was the first exam after the first lecture of the IB course in Wuhan No.6 Middle School. It is reported that the IB project of No.6 Middle School has attracted thousands of people. More than 130 students were selected for the IB course comprehensive test qualification and participated in the exam. The examination site was very popular, with an admission ratio of only 10%, and the fierce competition was comparable to that of the "high school entrance examination" site.

The curriculum adopted by IB schools is the well-known and widely used IB curriculum. At present, not many schools in China have been officially authorized by IB, and there are only a few in Wuhan. To obtain the official IB authorization, the school needs to integrate the IB concept in terms of school purpose, curriculum setting, and management culture. It has to submit the application and pass the International Baccalaureate (IBO) to obtain the candidate status and finally obtain the authorization certification after multiple reviews.
