Leaders from Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Paid a Visit to Chengdu and Wuhan

From March 6th to March 8th, leaders from Chongqing Liangjiang New Area and Chongqing No.1 High School paid a visit to Chengdu and Wuhan for in-depth exchange of views on school district education internationalization and school international department operation.

1st Destination：Chengdu No.7 High School
Mr. Yi Guodong (Principal of Chengdu No.7 High School) introduced general information of Chengdu No.7 High School to the guests. He said International Department of Chengdu No.7 High School has achieved a great success in the past 20 years. He also mentioned No.7 will continue to support the international department to become a K12 international school. Meanwhile, Chengdu No.7 High School Students International Exchange Service Center is established to provide service for students who want to study abroad.

2nd Destination： Education Bureau in Wuhou District

On March 7th, the delegation went to Education Bureau in Wuhou District, and had a meeting with Mr. Li Xiaoji (Deputy District Head, Wuhou District), Mr. Chen Bing (Head of Education Bureau, Wuhou District), Mr. Yan Yiyou (Head of the Foreign Exchange and Cooperation Department of Chengdu Education Bureau), Mr. Ma Benqiang (Deputy General Manager of Education Investment Company, Wuhou District) and Mr. Yang Guangrong (Principal of Xichuan Middle School), etc. They discussed how to promote the school district education internationalization, how to develop compulsory education in a high-quality, how to run an unique private school then promote rapid development of the school and how to promote the development of preschool education.

3rd Destination：Wuhan No. 6 High School
On March 8th, the delegation went to Wuhan Jiang 'an District Education Bureau and  International Department of Wuhan No. 6 High School for experience exchange. Mr. Jiang Zhigeng (Deputy Head of Wuhan jiang 'an District) and Mr. Zhang Nianqiang (Head of Education Bureau, Jiang 'an District) shared their experiences on the reform of district education modernization. The delegation then visited Wuhan No.6 High Shool— the window of international education in Jiang 'an District.

The visit and talks have reached positive results. The delegation expressed gratitude to education bureaus and schools in Chengdu and Wuhan for their reception, and appreciated the achievements made in the development of education in the two cities. As a core partner of Chengdu No. 7 High School and Wuhan No. 6 High School, Cogdel demonstrated our success stories in these three days. At the same time, Liangjiang delegation would like to have further exchanges and cooperation with Wuhou District and Jiang’an District and jointly promote the development of education in these three school districts.
