Mr. Wang Shu (President, Cogdel Education Group) addressed at the Standards and Practices of Financial Literacy Education Conference of China Education Science Forum 2018

On Jan. 23th, Mr. Wang Shu (President, Cogdel Education Group) attended the Standards and Practices of Financial Literacy Education Conference of China Education Science Forum 2018. The meeting also involved Mr. Yin Changchun (Secretary of Party Committee, National Institute of Education Sciences), Mr. Zhong Binglin (Chairman, The Chinese Society of Education), Mr. Gu Mingyuan (Tenured Professor, Beijing Normal University), and principals of universities of finance and economics. At the meeting, China Financial Literacy Education Standards was issued and education experts had in-depth discussions on its practice.

In Nov, 2016, Cogdel along with numerous influential Chinese education institutions and universities have jointly established China Financial Literacy Education Synergy Innovation Center. As the Deputy Director of Center, Mr. Wang said Cogdel Education Group will comply with Standards and make our partner schools, students benefit in terms of curriculum, activities, and services.

2018 Annual Party of Cogdel Education Group successfully held

On Jan. 19th, the 2018 Annual Party of Cogdel Education Group was successfully held at Intercontinental Hotel, Chengdu. The meeting involved Cogdel senior management, faculties of Cogdel Head Office and Chengdu Kaibo centre. Firstly, Ms. Yang Yue (VP, Cogdel Education Group) recalled the important events that occurred in 2017 and introduced the overall development plans for both Cogdel Head Office and Chengdu Kaibo centre. Then, Annual Excellent Employee Award and Long-term Service Award were given to faculties for exceptional dedication. After the banquet, everyone had a pleasant time engaging in a series of performances, lucky draws, and games.

Donation of Zimbabwe 1250 Free Lunch for Children Charity Bazaar was successfully distributed to two primary schools in Zimbabwe

In July, 2017, Zimbabwe 1250 Free Lunch for Children Charity Bazaar was successfully organized by Cogdel Education Group and Chengdu Kaibo centre. A total donation of 13,400 yuan was raised by all sides and the money was aimed at supporting excellent students of Musarara Primary School and providing one-year lunch for Chaddesley Primary School in Zimbabwe. Last week, Cogdel scholarship, free lunch, and school supplies were successfully distributed to both schools. 32 local students have received Cogdel scholarships.

Since established in 1997, Cogdel Education Group has been devoting to philanthropy and passing kindness to every corner of the world. In the future, the project will continue to be carried out on Cogdel campuses. In the meantime, we hope that more caring people will join us in creating a better future for African children.
