Tutorial System of International Department of Chengdu No.7 High School successfully established

This year, the Tutorial System of International Department of Chengdu No.7 High School has been successfully established. As a supplement to Head Teacher System, the Tutorial System is aimed at guiding students in academics, time management, objectives setting, etc. The System will be carried out in classes of 2017 first and tutors will give lessons to students during extra-curricular period.

In September, numerous famous overseas universities have paid visits to International Department of Chengdu No.7 High School, including Northwest University, Vanderbilt University, Washington University (St. Louis), Boston University, Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, York University, etc. Admission Officers have delivered wonderful lectures, giving useful advice to students who are planning to study abroad.

The School Opening Ceremony and Commendation Meeting of Chongqing No.1 Bilingual School was successfully held. The ceremony involved Mr. Yang Jingsong (Chairman, Chongqing No.1 Bilingual School), Mr. Lu Shankun (Principal, Chongqing No.1 Bilingual School), Ms. Huang Xing (VP, Cogdel Education Group), Chris (Academic Principal, International Dept., Chongqing No.1 Bilingual School), Mr. Liuhua (Operation Principal, International Dept., Chongqing No.1 Bilingual School), etc. School leaders have expressed new expectations and good wishes for the future of Chongqing No.1 Bilingual School.

The Faculty Meeting and Welcome Party of Chongqing No.1 Bilingual School successfully held

The Faculty Meeting and Welcome Party of Chongqing No.1 Bilingual School was successfully held. This year, for the first time, Chinese and foreign teachers of Chongqing No.1 Bilingual School has merged into one teaching team. In the new semester, the school will attach importance to teachers’ development, teaching quality, and teaching&research ability. It will also provide diverse supports to teaching and teacher training. In addition, a nice Welcome Party has been organized to show gratitude to the teaching team and welcome the new teachers.

On Sept.1st, the School Opening Ceremony of International Department of Wuhan No.6 High School was successfully held. Zach (Academic Principal, International Dept., Wuhan No.6 High School) has delivered an opening speech, expressing new expectations and best wishes for all the students. Ms. Huang Xing (Principal, International Dept., Wuhan No.6 High School) also delivered a touching speech, wishing all the students to gain knowledge, friendship, and achievements while studying at International Dept., Wuhan No.6 High School.

Teachers’ Day Commendation Meeting of International Department of Wuhan No.6 High School successfully held

On Sept.10th, Teachers’ Day Commendation Meeting of International Department of Wuhan No.6 High School was successfully held. The meeting is aimed at giving commendations to outstanding teachers, head teachers, team, and individuals. Mei Suo, Lei Yao, and Martin have been awarded as Outstanding Teacher of the Year. Furthermore, new faculty, new members of teaching team, newly-appointed management were introduced at the meeting.

Suzhou Foreign Teacher Class Program Orientation 2017 of Suzhou International Foundation School successfully held

In order to make new foreign teachers better adapt to the new environment, Suzhou Foreign Teacher Class Program Orientation 2017 of Suzhou International Foundation School was successfully held. Ms. Wang Jingzhi (Deputy Director of International Cooperation and Exchange Office, Suzhou Municipal Education Bureau) and Ms. Shen Guifang (Operation Principal, Suzhou International Foundation School) extended a warm welcome to all the foreign teachers at the orientation. Robert (Academic Principal, Suzhou International Foundation School) introduced curriculum emphasis, syllabus, teaching methods, and teaching activities. The project team also invited a police officer of Suzhou Public Security Bureau to give lectures on Laws&Regulations in China, Visa Application Procedures, and so forth.

This year, Suzhou Municipal Government has elected the 12th Suzhou Honorary Citizen and the 8th Friends of Suzhou. On Sept. 28th, As foreign teacher representatives of Suzhou Foreign Teacher Class Program, Abby Garnham, Cinyung Wong, Joseph Holroyd, Nia Jones have been invited to the Suzhou Municipal Government National Day Reception and Prize-Awarding Ceremony. At the buffet reception, foreign teacher representatives were engaged in friendly cultural exchanges with other guests.
