Cogdel Group Work Conference and OP&AP Meeting 2017-2018 successfully held

From August 1st to 4th, Cogdel Group Work Conference 2017-2018 was successfully held in Chengdu. The Conference involved Cogdel senior management, department heads of headquarters, and OPs of all Centers. Senior management shared development strategy and BD directions. Department heads of headquarters and OPs delivered presentations on work plans for new academic year. The Conference laid a solid foundation for the work of all Centers.

On Aug 26th and 27th, Cogdel Group OP&AP Meeting 2017 was successfully held in Chengdu. The meeting involved senior management and  operation&academic principals of four Centers. Mr. Zhang Min (Assistant Dean, Cogdel Academy) introduced the functions of Cogdel Academy and work plans for 2017-2018. Academic Principals delivered presentations on work plans for new academic year. All members actively engaged in discussions and heartily expressed their ideas.


Debate Team of International Department, Chengdu No.7 High School set records in Southwest Division of NHSDLC

Debate Team of International Department, Chengdu No.7 High School (Chengdu Kaibo Center) set records in Southwest Division of NHSDLC (National High School Debate League of China), ranking No.1 among participating schools. After three years, Debate Team of International Department, Chengdu No.7 High School has developed a rounded academic system which contributed to the new achievement.



Chiengmai Teaching-Assitan-ce Program 2017 of Chongqing No.1 Bilingual School achieved success

From July 23rd to 30th, 17 students of Chongqing No.1 Bilingual School (Chongqing Kaibo Center) have participated in 2017 Chiengmai Teaching-Assitance Program. By providing opportunities for students to teach at primary school and experiencing Thai culture in Chiengmai, the Program is aimed at cultivating students’ humanistic quality and team spirit. The Program also enriched students’ social work experience and provided a great opportunity for them to care about others.




Suzhou Foreign Teachers’ Demo Class Program 2017-2018 of Suzhou International Foundation School won the bid again

Since Suzhou International Foundation School (Suzhou Kaibo Center) started to undertake Suzhou Foreign Teachers’ Demo Class Program in 2015, Suzhou International Foundation School has been designing and providing international curriculum for schools directly subordinate to Suzhou Municipal Education Bureau. The International Curriculum is aimed at cultivating students’ problem-solving ability, academic writing skills, critical thinking, innovative thinking, and teamwork. It is the third time that Suzhou International Foundation School has won the bid to cooperate with Suzhou Government. Suzhou Foreign Teachers’ Demo Class Program will promote the diversity and maturation in foreign teacher recruitment and management.



NSLI-Y (The National Security Language Initiative for Youth Program) 2017 of Suzhou International Foundation School successfully held

From Jun 24th to Aug 7th, NSLI-Y (The National Security Language Initiative for Youth Program) 2017 was successfully held in Suzhou International Foundation School (Suzhou Kaibo Center). NSLI-Y, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, has been successfully held for five years so far. This year, 20 students of Suzhou International Foundation School have hosted 21 excellent students from USA including one Stanford student. Except providing Chinese and Culture lessons, the school has also arranged field trip, volunteer activities, and speech contest.



LAISS (Liberal Arts Initiative Summer Seminars) 2017 of Suzhou International Foundation School successfully held

On Aug 4th, LAISS (Liberal Arts Initiative Summer Seminars) 2017 was successfully concluded in Suzhou International Foundation School. LAISS is a non-profit program run by Amherst College students, officially recognized and sponsored by Amherst College. LAISS offers a variety of liberal arts classes on multiple disciplines to Chinese students who are interested in liberal arts education in the U.S. After two-week courses, three professors of Amherst College have developed a deep friendship with students of Suzhou International Foundation School.
