面对来势汹汹的疫情，武汉六中全体干部在任能祥校长、夏金旺书记的带头下，下沉社区，协助社区为居民发放由上级政府拨发捐赠的物资及消毒用品，和社区工作人员一起耐心地做好对居民请诉的解答工作、心理疏导工作；国际部党支部20多名党员也积极响应号召，支援学校附近光华社区，电话摸排该社区约300名居民体温、获取居民求助信息。
