Love in Action: Standing Together in Difficult Times | Cogdel Education Group Donates RMB 200,000 to Support Hong Kong Fire-Rescue Efforts

On the afternoon of November 26, 2025, a severe fire broke out in several residential buildings at Hung Fuk Court in Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong, resulting in heavy casualties and drawing deep concern across the country.

Mr. Wang Shu, Chairman of Cogdel Education Group, together with the Group’s core management team, closely followed the situation and promptly approved a disaster-relief donation of RMB 200,000. The Group extends its deepest condolences to the compatriots who lost their lives in the fire — including the firefighters who heroically sacrificed themselves in the line of duty — and conveys sincere sympathy to the families of the deceased and the injured. The Group also pays its highest respect to all firefighters and rescue personnel from all sectors involved in the relief operations.

In these challenging times, Cogdel Education Group has donated RMB 200,000 through its subsidiary KaiBo School to support emergency rescue efforts and post-disaster recovery in Hong Kong. This contribution aims to help affected residents weather the storm, while supporting the ongoing rescue, relief, and reconstruction work in the aftermath of the fire.

Education extends far beyond the classroom; it also means shouldering responsibility when society calls. This emergency donation to support Hong Kong’s fire-rescue efforts is a concrete embodiment of Cogdel Education’s commitment to this belief.
