Chairman of Cogdel Education Group, Visits Yali High School to Discuss the Future

On the afternoon of November 12th, Mr. Wang Shu, Chairman of Cogdel Education Group (the cooperative partner of the International Department of Yali High School), paid a visit to Yali High School. The two parties held in-depth and fruitful exchanges focusing on the school-running achievements of the International Department and its future development vision.

Discussing the Development Vision Together

During the discussion, Secretary Du Hui fully affirmed and expressed gratitude for the phased achievements made by Cogdel Education Group since it won the bid and participated in the cooperative school-running in February 2024. She emphasized that it is expected that both parties will continue to work in the same direction and resonate at the same frequency. In the cooperation, they should further focus on the all-round development, physical and mental health of students, unswervingly fulfill the mission of "educating people for the Party and cultivating talents for the country", and jointly cultivate talents of the new era who have both a sense of national belonging and a global perspective, and develop in an all-round way morally, intellectually, physically, aesthetically and laboriously.

As the leader in charge of the International Department, Vice Principal Qu Lin, while affirming the existing achievements, clarified the key directions for the next stage of development. He proposed that the International Department should start to formulate a clear three-year development plan, and focus on strengthening the cultivation and support of outstanding students in terms of college application guidance, helping them enter world-renowned top universities and achieve new breakthroughs in education results.

Founded in 2011, the International Department of Yali High School is a well-known international education institution in Hunan and even the whole country, with more than ten years of in-depth experience in international teaching. Its school-running achievements have been highly praised, and it has repeatedly ranked among the Top 100 International Schools in China as the only school in Hunan.

Joining Forces to Build a Benchmark for Exchange and Cooperation

Chairman Wang Shu expressed his gratitude for the trust and support given by Yali High School. He pointed out that Cogdel Education attaches great importance to its cooperation with Yali High School, and has made every effort to promote solid progress in the cooperation over the past two years.

Facing the future, Chairman Wang Shu clearly positioned the cooperative school-running project of the International Department of Yali High School as the "city card for Changsha's foreign exchange and cooperation". He also promised that the group will take this as a benchmark, work with the International Department team to improve the three-year development plan, continue to invest high-quality resources, and fully support the long-term development and shared vision of the International Department. Zhao Weichao, Director of the International Department, and Zhang Min, Deputy Director of the International Department assigned by Cogdel Group, attended the meeting.

Exchanging and Consoling Frontline Teachers

After the meeting, Chairman Wang Shu made a special trip to the office of the International Department to cordially console the hardworking frontline teachers and held a discussion with middle-level management cadres. He sincerely thanked the teachers for their hard work, encouraged everyone to fulfill their duties, concentrate on education, take the cultivation of outstanding students with comprehensive quality as their responsibility, and jointly present excellent school-running achievements as a gift to the 120th anniversary of Yali High School.
