Profile

With the support of all walks of life, Suzhou International Foundation School was established jointly by Suzhou Education Association for International Exchange, Cogdel Group, and Suzhou No. 1 Middle School upon approval by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education in the beginning of 2004. It is the first school in Jiangsu Province which teaches NCUK international foundation year (IFY) programs.

Features

Suzhou International Foundation School began to teach North America curricula and American university credit curricula in 2008. Students studying there have a lot of ways to study abroad in the USA and other countries. Adopting a globally-accepted international teaching mode, the school integrates the quintessence of Chinese education with that of foreign education. Students are taught by foreign teachers in a small-sized class on a full-time basis. Moreover, the school is managed by senior foreign experts, aiming to enable Chinese students to experience the same curricula as those in the USA and UK. Such curricula also reflect the advantage of basic senior high school education in China.

Achievements

Since being established, Suzhou International Foundation School has kept a “nearly 100%” track record in terms of rate of graduation, rate of acceptance by universities, and rate of success in visa application. About 70% its students were offered a place by world-class universities. The school has been widely recognized by many education institutions in the USA, UK, and Australia. In the past 14 years, it has sent more than 1,000 students to well-renowned foreign universities to continue their studies.
