Course Manual and Academic Resource Platform

Course Manual

In order to effectively guide operators to import and carry out these curriculum systems, Cogdel Group has edited and issued course manuals for all academic curricula. Each manual is made up of the following contents:

• Teaching objective

• Class hour arrangement

• Textbooks and aids (including self-prepared textbooks/aids and appointed textbooks/aids)

• Examples of teaching plans

• Teaching methods

• Teaching assessment and examination

• Staffing requirements and advice

Academic Resource Platform

• Academic resource platform is a part of Cogdel’s integrated management platform

• Massive teaching resources are available on the platform. Both Chinese and foreign teachers may upload and download teaching plans, teaching materials (audios and videos), test paper, homework, and teaching experience via the platform.

Academic Support and Quality Control

Cogdel Group has worked out a unified standard for the operation of its academic curriculum system. Cogdel Academy provides all-round academic support and quality control services for the system.

Cogdel Academy is an academic research institute, education quality supervisor, and education training platform built by Cogdel Group. Focusing on the international education sector, the academy develops internationalized curriculum standards and academic management systems suitable for China’s elementary education, publish international education-related textbooks and auxiliary materials, carry out academic audit to partner schools or organizations in China on behalf of overseas academic colleges/universities, and design and operate international education-related training programs. In addition, Cogdel Academy works with high-end think tanks to provide professional consulting services to Chinese schools in terms of China’s international education policies and operations.

Cogdel Academy provides the following academic supports and quality control services to all campuses:

• Review a campus’s qualification to teach Cogdel’s academic curricula and issue a qualification certificate

• Assist each campus in building and training a teaching management team

• Provide daily academic supports to each campus, e.g. preparing academic school calendars, providing academic resources, and answering related questions

• Organize cross-campus survey tests, analyze tests results, and offer proposals

• Organize important examinations for core curricula (e.g. foreign high school’s core curricula), such as midterm exams, final exams, and course completion exams

• Carry out annual academic investigation and audit, including participating in assessment of academic headmasters, attending a lecture, giving comments, and issuing an Auditor’s Report

• Organize thematic academic and management trainings
